Symbol mark of Haenam-gun as a key element of Haenam-gun CI (Unification of city image & identity) will determine visual image that differentiates Haenam-gun image as an individual unique one. This mark expresses 'Future-oriented global city' as a main character of leading 'Heavenly blessed tourist city' and 'A city of history and culture' based on unpolluted mountain and sea of Haenam-gun.
Mountain image in a form of triangle symbolizes Dooryoonsan representing Haenam and unpolluted natural green area. An image of blue sea, rolling wave and flying image of seagull reflects romance of Ttangggut village that is inseparable from Haenam-gun and geographical characteristics being surrounded by sea.
As symbol mark is the most important part that directly delivers visual image of CI (Unification of city image and identity) of Haenam-gun, special attention is required to paid so that such image will not be confused due to its wrong use. Correct use of symbol mark is tantamount to clear transmission of Haenam-gun image and expression of accountability.
Such mark is required to be thoroughly controlled so that it will not be changed during reproduction and it is preferred to be downsized, magnified and transformed by using computer.
