Yeonbong Nogu(The Remains of Gosan Yun Seon-do)

Main family house of Haenam Yoon family and Nokwoodang located at Yeondong-ri, Haenam-eub deliver dignity and quiet atmosphere of old house passed down for hundreds of years.

At the backyard of old house, forest of nutmeg tree, a natural monument, is thickly green and in this place, numerous literary and art works left by Gosan Yoon, Seon-do and Gongjae Yoon, Doo-suh are preserved.

Duryun Yeonsa(Millennium Ancient Temple Daeheungsa at Mt. Duryunsan)

Forest trail boasting beautiful climbing route of deep valley streams constitutes tunnel of sub-tropical forest and it provides colorful mood of every season by spring camellia flower in spring, thick forest in summer and beautiful autumn leaves in fall. Dooryoonsan is much famous by Daeheungsa, an old temple aged thousands of years and this place is full of tracks of famous temples such as Pyochoongsa and Iljiam.

Gojeon Hujo(Gocheonam Habitat for Migratory Birds Paradise)

Gocheonam famous for its field of reeds is a heaven of spectacled teal. An image of group dance of hundreds of thousands of spectacled teal at sunset creates a mystic mood.

Myeongryang Nodo(Myeongryang Great Victory Spot)

Wooldolmok is a narrow strait. Its current is very fast and its flow is sometimes abruptly changed. It is said that General Lee, Soon-shin accomplished splendid victory of having destroyed 133 war ships of Japanese invaders at Myeongryang by his 13 turtle ships only. In order not to expose numerical inferiority to the enemy, local residents were directed to camouflage such inferiority by dancing around hand in hand in large numbers (Ganggangsoolae) at the seaside and Ganggangsoolae is originated from this historical background.

Uhang Goeryong(Uhangri Dinosaur Fossil Site)

Yukdan Jobeom(The Starting Point of Korean Peninsula)

This site is the starting point of entering into the continent as the southernmost tip of Korea. At Ttangggut, an observatory with height of 38m is standing now. This observatory commands Dalmasan having deep forest and a piece of oceanic picture showing fishing boats moving around widely extended culture farm at a glance. This site is a sole place in our country where sunrise and sunset could be watched and a lot of crowds are gathered at year end.
